Doesn't work and instructions are worthless
Got this to pair once after messing with it for about an hour. Spent the last hour and a half trying to get it paired to use it the second time. After not having any luck, I called customer service. She told me to take the batteries out and press the red reset button. I took the batteries out and there is no red reset button. Customer service rep said yes there is, it says so in my manual. I asked her where and she said right under the batteries, I'm sorry you can't see it. I asked her if I could get a copy of the manual she was looking at and she said it's only for customer service. Customer service rep then said she would have someone call me tomorrow. Too bad I have something on the smoker now.
Bottom line, stay away from this product! It will provide you nothing but frustration, even if you reach out to Weber for help.
BTW, ignore the average star rating for the product. It gives 5 stars by default. If you read through the reviews (which I didn't before buying the product) most people say it's an expensive, frustrating product. I doubt the average is really 4 stars.
