I just purchased this about a month ago have only used it on chicken so far, but let me tell you that it will make a believer out of you. I can't believe how juicy these birds are turning out. I normally brine a chicken or turkey and spatchcock them, but with the rotisserie it baste itself the entire time and comes out unbelievably juicy. I even over cooked one (180ish) and still the bird was super juicy and delicious. You literally season, truss and put it on the spit and do nothing else, and there are plenty of vids out there to teach you how to truss a bird. The counter weight works good. It takes the strain from the motor and is easy to put on, so if you want to take it to the next level, make the investment. It really is worth the money. I can't wait to try something else on the rotisserie, but my daughters keep asking for chicken, and if I can get them to eat that regularly then fine by me...chicken it is! Thx guys!
