The cover fits OKAY
I received the left hand social area grill cover with my grill order. The cover fits OKAY, but for the folks that are spending the $$$ on this grill we expect a better cover. *Fit: Like I mentioned the cover fits OKAY. Often the condiment cover rises up from "tenting" caused by the wind. I have yet to have the cover blow off, but it does commonly "puff" up at the 90 degree bend where the trash area is and near condiment cover. No issues with the part that covers the actual grill and ring burner area. The issues seem to be downstream from there. *Quality: Not the Weber quality I expected. After the second thunderstorm, one of the two tabs that go behind the garbage can access door ripped at the seam. The cover wasn't even three weeks old. I was a little confused by the design, as the the tabs didn't have anything to hook to. When I called Weber customer support (fantastic BTW) they said to tuck the sewn tabs behind the door. Not a good design at all. The seams also frequently leak. I know this because water spots appear everywhere along the sewn seams on the flat stainless steel counter tops. Not a practical all season cover. I'm not sure what I will do to cover the grill in the winter months. *Overall not that impressed, however it's all that is available. I may end up taking the cover to a local boat cover company to see if they can make something better. I'm surprised Weber hasn't taken more time to design a better cover to protect the crown jewel in their collection. I would be willing to spend $250 on a well made cover that would last for 5 years! I'm sure that most of the folks dropping the cash on this unit would also.
