The cover lasted 4 years, but shrank and crumbled at the seams this year. I would have had to cut the cover off to remove, except for the fact it crumbled open for me. We didn't use the grill last summer due to the addition of a baby occupying our time, so the cover could have been a problem last year. I will replace with a cheap cover and happily keep replacing the cheap cover as needed, rather than risk the expense for an unknown product life of this cover. The grill looks brand new though and is of great quality.

Love the grill, but the premium cover shrank in less than a year to where it was impossible to get back on without tearing at the corners, and the top finish also cracked in places from the sun. At the price, I will not buy another.

I received a second hand Genesis and I find it to be great! The cover came with it and it's 5 years old and still looks and works great, say for the Velcro has deteriorated, easy fix! The quality really is 2nd to none.....

I am on my second Weber barbeque grille, The first one was so wonderful I didn't hesitate for a moment to buy a second, and I gave the first one, still operating well and still covered by an intact, good condition cover to some less fortunate individuals. I bought a beautiful copper-colored E series grille and a premium (?) $54.99 cover for it. It has sat outside for 5 months. The previous one sat outside for TEN YEARS! Already, the new cover has cracks and holes and breakdowns all over it. It is TRASH! How is this possible from Weber? I want a new grille cover! I don't care if it costs $100. I want a grille cover as good as the one I gave away!! The one that was TEN YEARS OLD!!! What is up with this, Weber?? Beth S.

I am looking for a new cover for our Genesis S330. First and foremost, I would not buy a dark color - it shows ALL dirt & it attracts heat. And of course, after reading these current reviews, I am certainly not going to consider this product. WEBER/GENESIS - you should be ashamed!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Quite frankly I am appalled at the poor quality of this grill cover given that Weber considers it a "premium". The only thing premium about this is the price. We've had this cover for less than 2 years and it is already cracking and starting to fall apart. Save some cash and buy a generic cover for your grill!

Bought in 2008, stitching crumbled and all seams came apart in 2009. Major fail for Weber. Not happy about that.

Echoing all of the above comments here. Had a cover out in the Los Angeles sun in our condo building common area for 5 years, and it would still be going strong except someone melted holes in it. Just bought a new cover, and upon taking it out of the box, found a 1" split in a seam in a top corner. Noticed that it seems much lighter/thinner, and doesn't have the mesh vent in back like the old one. Will have to exchange it tomorrow, but don't expect it to last very long with frequent use. Sad to see this from Weber, a name that I usually associate with premium quality.
