Fantastic first tin experience!

I have never made homemade pizza before. We bought the pizza dough already made the kind that comes two to a package. We followed the instructions preheating to 400 then putting to pizza stone in at medium heat and let it warm for 10 minutes. I have the Spirit 310. After we put the pizza on I checked it as soon as I could smell it. The edges were already toasting so it doesn't take long. You can slightly lift a pizza edge to see how done you want it. I found that rather than going to medium best but down to the lowest setting works better. We cooked another identical pizza after the first and I have to say these were the best pizzas I have ever eaten.

Great stone - NOT a non-stick

I have made incredible pizza and my guests go nuts with my skills, the only bad thing is that the first time i used it the pizza crust sticked to the stone in a veryyy bad way, i figure out that its better if you put non-stick foil on the stone and then it worked perfectly, however i would like to use it without the foil to compare taste and crust crunchiness. i wish the video that weber has on hoe to use the stone would have been done on the Spirit 310 BBQ system grill which was originally made for this type of accessories. Another thing is that is good if you get the heat as high as possible but then turn the burner under the stone very low or sometimes off because if not your under crust could burn and your ingredients on top like cheese can not melt in time or other stuff on top wont cook thoroughly. thanks! i love weber anyways

Good purchase

After two centuries of grilling with charcoal we bought a Spirit 310 and we love it. I tried my first pizza using the pizza stone. The pizza came our great with lots of flavor, unlike that in out oven. The bottom was charred which was good news/bad news depending how you like your pizza. I would like mine a little less charred. Unfortunately, Weber does not provide detailed instructions for using the pizza stone. It is kind of, "Hey, there are only two moving parts. You figure it out." I am going to try the indirect method next on high heat, but the system and the stone are great.
