Great product, but probes are the weak link
I own both an igrill mini and and igrill2. They are great to cook with and offer ease of use and flexibility unlike other products. The weak link are the probes. I've had my ambient temp probe replaced once, and again it's having issues in less than a couple months. In addition, now a meat probe is also giving me bad readings. It starts off over 200degrees high, and eventually starts to equilibrate...in a couple hours... At $25 per probe, or more, the purchase of an igrill will get very expensive. It would seem that a better solution would be for the manufacturer to design a better probe. At this point, as nice as it is when it's working, I'm not so sure if I will look for new probes or cut my losses and find an alternate product.
Hi Eric! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback for us. We apologize that you have had some trouble with your probes. Please look out for an email from our iGrill support team discussing your warranty. Grill on!
