Listen to the reviews!!!
Probes are a joke. They lasted a few months. Weber knows about the problem and has supposedly made a much improved probe. I know this because I called and spoke with someone who let me know this and also took my information to send me new ones. After giving him all my info, now I get all sorts of Weber advertisement emails, but no replacement probes to be found. Very disappointed in the follow up.
Also, the fake chrome on the unit starts to flake off after a few weeks of use and cleaning ( damp rag with water only ). This wouldn't be a big deal except it is a tech gadget and most people like to show this type of thing off to people. I know I did. I showed it off to everyone when it was nice looking and worked. Not anymore, I hide it. It looks old, cheap and like something that I have owned for years. But its only a few months old. Weber bought the iGrill and hopefully addresses the products workmanship because when it was new, it was the best BBQ tool I have ever owned. Unfortunately the honeymoon period ends way to quickly.
