Disappointing

I received this as a gift and was excited to use it. The first time I used the iGrill things started off great. Part way through cooking however the Bluetooth disconnected and when I went to check on my pork loin I found the probe ruined from the heat of the grill. The plastic was burnt and the probe would no longer read temperatures. What a disappointment!

Dual Igrill mini

I have 2 minis paired to a single device. After about 3 hours of perfect connection suddenly no connection. I had to use all of my old manual thermometers to avoid issues with the meat. Ended up I had to close out the app and relaunch it in order for everything to connect again. Anyone have any input on using 2 devices and still maintaining connections?

Temperature Reading Issue

Used one time on pork butt worked fine. The next time I used it the reading appears to be that of the grill . Very dissatisfied with probe.

Disappointed with product

I have only had this for six months and have already had to replace the battery three times and now the probe is not anywhere close to accurate. Very frustrating.

Bluetooth won't connect

We downloaded the app on iPhone 5, and two different iPhone 6 phones and tried to connect. Nothing. It just kept trying and never showed up in the list so we could pair it with any of our phones. Called the iGrill Mini customer support and they said they couldn't help us. Referred us to this web page and I see no real help here. Grrr. So frustrating. We were hoping to use it on our smoker to do ribs for this holiday weekend. Guess we will just use our "old school" thermometer until we get this sorted out or get our money back.

Great Product

I have had my igrill mini for about 6 months and have loved it and bragged my times about it to friends. last week as I was grilling a boston butt I had a flare up which normally doesn't happen but it burned my meat probe to where it only shows the temp of the grill and not the meat. Unfortunately the new probes are almost the price of the entire device which in turn makes me not want to use this device anymore. Frustrated!

Overall, this is a great tool to have

After leaving my review, the Weber team emailed me concerning my issue. They promptly sent me a new probe. The probe is still in transit, but I'm very satisfied with the customer service from Weber. I'll definitely be a returning customer and I'll be recommending this to my friends and family.

Temperature reading issue

Even when probe fully inserted into food, the temperature reading appears to be that of the grill interior, not the food. Works fine if probe inserted after food is removed from grill. Not sure what is causing this.

THE WORST BLUETOOTH

Have had mine for one week just tried it hard to connect to iPhone 6 finally did, stuck probe into meat, walked 9 feet away from grill with iPhone and lost signal, had to go into Bluetooth all over again and reconnect, so I went in and took it out of my Bluetooth list and repaired it like if your having trouble with a ear Bluetooth device just unpair it and repair it which I did with this mini BOOM WALKED 12 or LESS FEET AND BOOOOOOOOOM LOST CONNECTION, this is the worst unit and nothing like having to deal with it plus watch your grilling meat, it is a waste of money, what really gets me is I SENT IN THE LARGER UNIT , THE $99 ,FOR IT TO BE REPLACED BUT DID NOT GET A RMA I JUST SENT IT IN TO GET WORKED ON OR REPLACED AND BBBBBOOOOOOOMMMMMMM THEY SEND ME THE MINI, so unprofessional so don't buy because God help you if it the Bluetooth doesn't work well. Red sleeve on imini

So the red sleeve can stay on the probe inside the electric grill?

Hi Bill! Since the red probe indicator on your Pro Meat Probe is only used to differentiate between multiple probes, we recommend removing it during your cook to avoid any flare ups. Grill on!
