I read good things about these smoker boxes but apparently there are different models for the Genesis 300 pre 2011 (control knobs on side) and post 2011 models (control knobs on front). A search only brings up one model and a lot of people don't know if their Genesis is pre or post 2011 (especially if it's a gift for someone else). My wife got me the wrong one and it doesn't fit my grill however the Weber folks were great. They did an even exchange and even paid for the shipping for both units so kudos to Weber. They should however make it a bit more clear that there are two models and they are not interchangeable.
