The Sear Station for Summit 400 series grill is between burners 2 and 3 and the Series Station for the Summit 600 series grill is between burners 4 and 5. So, to me, the cooking grate cut-out (for the Sear Grate or Wok) should be located over the sear station. For this to work you need to: cut one of the existing 12-inch gates on the 400 series or cut two of existing 12-inch gates on the 600 series.
